Visa for the recognition of foreign qualifications in Germany

With the immigration consultants at the Canadian Immigration Centre, we provide assistance and support in obtaining a Foreign Qualifications Recognized visa in Germany for up to 18 months. It is possible to get a 6-month extension if you need a re-test or similar. This is awarded on an individual basis.

With a Foreign Qualifications Recognized visa, you can also work alongside your training for up to ten hours per week. However, if the work is related to your qualifications and you receive a job offer to continue working, there are exceptions to this 10-hour limitation based on approval by the Federal Employment Agency.

After obtaining your qualifications fully recognized, you can stay in Germany for an additional year in order to find a suitable job in line with your recognized professional qualifications.
